The Academic Board of
ISC Education Centre is established to act on issues pertaining to Curriculum
Development and the deployment of academic resources in the institution. It is
panel of professionals and experts who possess distinguished personalities from
the industry and academia. It is regarded as the highest governing body of the
institution in the area illustrated above. Its role is to guide and advise the
Management Team on the development and implementation of strategies for the
pursuit of excellence in all aspects of teaching and learning.

EngeCheeSeng
is a veteran in the private education industry with over 10 years of experience
with institutions such as Informatics Holdings Ltd, Auston Institute of
Management & Technology, Singapore Institute of Commerce, etc.
In these schools, he has held key positions in the management team taking care
of business development, academic partnerships, sales & marketing as well
as overall operations. During this time, he has traveled to over 10 countries
setting up representative offices, linking up with university partners,
establishing partnership programmes and also establishing sales & distribution
network for the recruitment of international students.
With the wealth of experience gained during his career, his role as Principal
of ISC Education Centre and also member in the Academic & Examination Board
will be pivotal in the overall strategic direction and development of the
institute.
Sukumar Yoga Prabhu
Yoga
Prabhu is an esteem academia holding a Master of Business Administration from
Victoria University, Australia, a Masters in Progression Diploma from SIC,
Singapore and two Bachelors Degrees in Hospitality Management and Business
Administration from India.
After completing his studies in India, he worked in Sheraton Park Hotel which
is one of the biggest and leading hotels in India. During that period he was
trained in various departments in the Hotel and worked in major Food and
Beverage Outlets in that hotel. His performance propelled his career pathway in
the hotel and was promoted to supervisory position to manage one of the hotel’s
restaurant. From his hospitality industry experience, he possesses in depth
knowledge on the workings of the various departments and repeatedly proven an
asset to the operations of the hotel. Seeking further advancement in his
education and career, he took up the Masters programme in Singapore and was
selected as an Adjunct Lecturer for certain modules in the same institute due
to his strong background.
Realizing his passion in lecturing and having a wealth of experience in the
hospitality industry and also his strong academic background, he will be an
ideal candidate to conduct and manage the Hospitality Management programmes
awarded by B.H.M.S and ISC. The students will benefit from his teachings and
obtain gainful insights into the mechanisms of the hospitality industry.
MdmLeelakumariSoundaben
MdmSoudabenPradeep
is a lecturer for Teacher Training at ISC Education.
After
doing her full time BA, she went on to complete her MA and Bachelor all in
English language &Literature.
Her
commitment to continuous upgrading of skills and knowledge has never wavered,
and today MdmSoudaben is a highly qualified professional. Her profile includes:
Diploma in Montessori Education; Specialist Diploma in TESOL; Cambridge
CELTAand Certificate in Educational Psychology. She is also ACTA-qualified by
WDA, Singapore. Additionally, she holds the International English Teaching
License awarded by the Global TESOL College, Canada.
MdmSoudaben has a very successful track record spanning 20 years in ESL/EFL
teaching, and teacher trainingwith proven expertise in curriculum and syllabus
development. She has independently developed volumes of lessons and exercises
in grammar during her remarkable careers in India and Singapore. She was also
an Examiner of the Indian School Certificate (Cambridge) Examination Board,
India (1994-96), before coming to Singapore in 1997.
MdmSoudaben is a master grammarian, well versed in its teaching methodologies.
She has excelled in teaching grammar, Academic English and Business English to
students from all over Asia, as well as to native speakers of English. She is a
very dedicated teacher committed to motivating even academically weaker
students into scholastic performers, many of whom hold well-placed
international careers today.
MdmSoudaben
is an accomplished Specialist TeacherTrainer in TESOL(Canadian/UK/Australian);
CambridgeCELTA; IELTS and TOEFL.
Highly motivated, loyal,dependable and trustworthy. Good ability to build
empathy with students,parents,colleagues and superiors Relate very well with
people at all levels.
She has spent about 8 years specializing in training English Teachers in
